Backpacker.ca is being built as a Canadian-first resource for backpacking gear price alerts, retailer coverage, and practical trip planning guides. The goal is simple: help Canadian backpackers decide what to buy, where to buy it, and when a price is worth acting on.

The site is starting with early-access price-alert requests and a small set of Canadian gear guides. As the tracker comes online, those guides will connect directly to retailer coverage, price history, and alert tools.
